Correct. It turns rev matching on and off. This is so they can build one steering wheel for both corvettes and do the change in software.

To activate/deactivate auto Rev-Matching. It also cut costs so GM only has to produce 1 steering wheel instead of 2 different ones.

Yep. Apparently they turn the magic throttle blipping off and on.

Although I almost kind of wish it was an F1 style hand clutch, because how ridiculous would that be?

I know rev-matching gets bad press, but it still sounds awesome on a 370z and on the vette it would be delicious.

I don't have rev matching on my M, but I do it myself. And I do it at every opportunity. In fact I overdo it because I like the sound. Plus I don't have to talk to people when I do it. So I do it. Do it.
